Shannon Rae is a singer songwriter who resides in Regina, Saskatchewan. She began singing at the age of 4, performing for live audiences at the age of 9 and performed competitively at age 14. Shannon has been a performer with the GX94 Star Search show for over 5 years. In 2014 she had the honour of being a part of the CKRM singer songwriter series, which took place at Casino Regina. In 2005 Shannon was a competitor for Canadian Showcase, a national talent search. Shannon has also performed in numerous events across Saskatchewan including the Hillbilly Boogie Fest, Vertigo Series, and Playing for Change Music Festival (2015). Recently, she had the pleasure of visiting Nashville, Tennessee, where she performed at the World Famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Douglas Corner Café. She also performed at the Loretta Lynn Dude Ranch, Mother Road Music Hall, Memphis, Tennessee and other musical venues in Canada and the USA. In 2017 Shannon became an active participating member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Shannon is also a member of the Saskatchewan country music association.
Shannon is working on her second full 10 track album. Shannon enjoys networking with other professional singer-songwriters in the industry. After completing her degrees in English and in education, Shannon finished a full 8 track debut album produced by Crystal Shawanda under her company Newsun Records Productions in Nashville,Tennessee.
